Integrity

“Do what you feel in your heart to be RIGHT–for you’ll be criticized anyway. You’ll be damned if you do, and damned if you don’t.” -Eleanor Roosevelt

There may be those who would criticize you for doing what is right, such as for saying the truth when it is most inconvenient, but remember… Remember to always CARRY ON. Do what you feel in your heart to be right and fear none but God.

    • Hello Sally. I appreciate you stopping by. This quote strikes me so much because it reminds me of the importance of conviction, honor, and trust in God. I believe that being genuinely God-fearing (out of love, of course) helps people in becoming more truthful in their lives. Personally, what I try to always do first–whenever I’m trapped in a challenging situation–is to acknowledge The One above. What would God think if I hold back on the truth, or if I consent to wrongdoing? Sometimes, it’s easy to put other people’s opinions first instead what God wills. It’s easy to think of the criticisms, or attacks, other people may throw for standing up for what is considerably right. Then again, I ask myself, whose judgment really matters? Who really must be put forward first, above anyone and anything else?

      Peace. (:
